一、论坛简介
I. Introduction to the Forum
华东师范大学青年科学家（学者）国际论坛（生态与环境分论坛）是生态与环境科学学院在学校统一部署下开展的，旨在为海内外高层次优秀青年学者搭建一个学术交流的平台。分论坛通过专题报告和学术研讨，围绕国际学术前沿，探讨学科热点问题，促进学术交流与合作。本次论坛将采用线上视频方式于2021年4月9日-11日举办。
The International Forum of Young Scientists (Scholars) (Sub-Forum for Ecology and Environmental Science) is regularly organized by the School of Ecological and Environmental Sciences (SEES), East China Normal University. This sub-forum provides an academic platform for exchanging research progresses and ideas among outstanding young scientists, focusing on the hotspot issues of science and technology in ecology and environmental science. Based on the applications, we will invite young scientists to present speeches on the forum. The forum of this year will be hosted online from April 9 to 11, 2021.

II. Theme and schedule of the Forum
领域与方向：生态与进化、环境科学与工程以及相关领域和方向。
日程安排：论坛拟定于2021年4月9日-11日召开，详细日程另行通知。
Fields and disciplines: Ecology and evolution, Environmental science and engineering, and related fields.
Schedule: The forum is planned to be held from April 9 to 11, 2021. The detailed agenda of the forum will be announced later.

III. Registration conditions
青年科学家（学者）：年龄一般在40周岁以下，具有海内外知名高校、研究机构博士学位，在所从事的学科前沿领域取得突出的学术成果，并具有重要影响力。
Young scientists should be aged below 40, with a PhD degree from a prestigious Chinese or foreign university or research institution, and have made outstanding academic achievements in ecology, environmental science and technology.

生态与环境科学学院成立于2014年，其前身环境科学系创办于1986年，是在环境科学研究所（创建于1978年）的基础上组建而成。学院拥有一级学科博士点2个（生态学、环境科学与工程），博士后流动站2个（生态学、环境科学与工程），本科专业3个（生态学、环境科学、环境生态工程）。学科发展效果显著，其中生态学科是上海市重点学科、国家重点学科，2017年教育部指定建设一流学科，生态学、环境科学与工程均入选上海市高峰学科（IV类），环境科学与生态学进入ESI全球排名前0.3%，环境科学专业、生态学专业分别在2019年、2020年获批国家级一流专业建设。学院建设有浙江天童森林生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站、上海市城市化生态过程与生态恢复重点实验室两个重点研究基地，上海有机固废生物转化工程技术研究中心和上海市教委实验教学示范中心（生态与环境实验教学中心），共建自然资源部大都市区生态空间修复工程技术创新中心、上海城市困难立地绿化工程技术研究中心、长江口三角洲河口湿地生态系统教育部/上海市野外科学观测研究站、普陀山森林生态系统定位观测研究站。经过30多年的建设，学院形成了以学科相融合为特色的生态—环境—工程学科群。
The School of Ecological and Environmental Sciences (SEES) was established in 2014. It stems from the creation of the Institute of Environmental Science in 1978 and the later foundation of the Department of Environmental Science in 1986 by East China Normal University (ECNU). The SEES has built up a complete educational and training system for bachelor, master, and doctoral students in the fields of Ecology, Environmental Science, and Environmental Engineering. It currently has 2 doctoral programs (Ecology, Environmental Science and Engineering), 2 post-doctoral stations (Ecology, Environmental Science and Engineering) and 3 undergraduate majors (Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Eco-Engineering). SEES has made remarkable progresses in the development of academic discipline. In 2017, Ecology, the key discipline of the State and Shanghai, was appointed by the Ministry of Education of China to construct the first-class discipline of the world. Both Ecology and Environmental Science & Engineering are approved as the Peak Disciplines by the Education Commission of Shanghai. Environmental Science and Ecology were ranked at the top of 0.3% in the ESI global-ranking system. Environmental Science and Ecology were approved for National First-Class Professional Construction in 2019 and 2020. The SEES has established several key research bases, including Zhejiang Tiantong National Forest Ecosystem Observation and Research Station, the Shanghai Key Lab for Urban Ecological Processes and Eco-Restoration (SHUES), Shanghai Engineering and Technology Research Center for Organic Solid Waste Biotransformation, and Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Shanghai Education Commission (Ecological and Environmental Experimental Teaching Center), as well as Yangtze River Estuary Wetland Ecosystem Research Station of Ministry of Education and Shanghai City, Land and Resources Technology Innovation Center for Ecological Space Restoration Engineering in the Metropolitan Area, Shanghai Urban Difficult Site Greening Engineering Technology Research Center, and the Putuo Forest Ecosystem Research Station of Zhoushan Archipelago. The SEES is characterized by the cluster of Ecology, Environmental science, and Environmental Engineering after more than 30 years of development.
