报告摘要:
In this presentation Dr Simeon Smaill will provide a brief background to New Zealand forestry science and Scion, then introduce research exploring options to sustainably increase the productivity of Pinus radiata, which is the dominant exotic forest species in New Zealand. Following this, he will discuss the results of a recently competed project exploring the potential to use Pinus radiata to manage water quality, which created some unexpected results with important implications for forest management strategies.
